Born in 1968 - France
Fabrice Jac is a visual artist born in 1968, he lives and works in Lyon.
He joined Beaux-Arts Lyon and began his research work on mixing images before devoting himself to the world of music, where he worked as a programmer, manager and went on to being artistic director.
After fifteen years in the music industry, the artist gave up this part of his life and went towards pictorial expression.
In order to find his personal style, Fabrice Jac isolated himself and worked for seven years in his workshop on image composition. Aligning himself with Dadaism and Suprematism, his favorite topics still remain man and his status, something which he observes, examines through compositions and quirky crossings.
Fabrice Jac is on the look out for contrasts in his compositions; he highlights the duality between the notions of inside/outside, rigor/disorder and body/soul.
"I don't represent, I use representations to re-present!".
Since 2013 his works have been displayed and known due to several exhibitions, he was awarded the prize of jury in 2015 at the Biennial Art Galila, he was selected for various prestigious fairs which include Ex-Alt NEW Art in Milan and TresArt Gallery in Canada. He regularly exhibits in his region in Lyon and Vienna.
