Born in 1972 - France
Born in 1972, Pierre Ziegler is a French artist. He lives and works in Paris.
During his experience in 80's in Paris, he saw Street art emerge and develop, he assisted its boom in the 90's which left a mark on him and encouraged him to train himself.
In the 2000's, he became Philippe Pasqua's assistant. This work helped him to grasp painting in a traditional manner for the first time. However, his raw art remains influenced by graffiti and its beginnings. He mixes bright colors with dark figures, signs and writings in order to create both a figurative and provocative painting.
Pierre Ziegler isn't only looking for aesthetic painting but also a kind of a protest song, so that the artist can denounce the abuses of our society with recurring themes like poverty, lack of media coverage and absence of spirituality. His travels have also influenced his work through their primitive indications.
