Presentation

Born in 1973 Michaël Borras is a French plastic artist, known as Systaime.

He started in the 1990's by creating painted works of art, installations and performances. The arrival of new medias as artistic supports opened him a new path in which the artist multiplied the number of projects.
He founded the French Trash Touch movement in 1995 and participated to many artistic international events around digital art and network art. In adapting to these supports, he became a curator, speaker, producer, or even an organizer, in addition to his creation of his own works of art.

Since the 2010's, he created projects in many fields: he participates to television programs as L'Oeil de Links on Canal +; he made video clips for groups as Asia Argento and Odezenne; and participated or organized many cultural events. As a very popular artist, he mainly travelled to France and the United States.

Several time invited by the Culture and Communication Ministry, he participated in conferences and workshops about the diffusion and creation of digital art. In July 2014, he created the "Digital Vision" festival.

Lastly, his work was exhibited at the gallery Jed Voras in Paris.
