BIOGRAPHY

Bruno Mercier is a French photographer born in 1962. He lives and works in Normandy.

Bruno Mercier is committed to photography and writing: He has worked on many individual and collective works such as "Blind Memory, des Objects de Memoire". The latter has been positively noticed by critics and has been exhibited in France and the Netherlands on exhibitions about landing and liberation.

Bruno Mercier feels close to the field of engraving and the world of American illustration too, he decided early on to become part of the drawing and illustration world, in which he masters both the pen and the ink . His favorite subject is that of the agitated landscape, where light and movement allow to show all the turmoil of the natural phenomena.

He was awarded the "Zooms de la Photo" award during the Paris Photo Show in 2015 thanks to his series «Métamorphose »; this award opened many doors for him and allowed him to exhibit in several countries including Japan.

"My photographs reflect my feelings, my emotions and therefore the subjective perception of what surrounds me. "
