Christelle Fargue started drawing at a young age. She entered the School of Fine Arts of Angouleme, then the Duperre School in Paris, where she specialized in fashion design, graphic design and illustration.
Christelle Fargue started her carrier as a graphic designer and Illustrator, working for several publishing houses and advertising agencies. In 2000, She founded her own company with her husband. During the 2000s, she studied sculpture beside the artist Christophe charbonnel.
Christelle Fargue is inspired by several artistic fields and artists. She has been deeply influenced by the Spanish Roman sculpture of Val de Boi, the pre-Raphaelite atmosphere, symbolism, art nouveau and Fauvism. In her pieces, the artist depicts life and human beings. In a mystical setting, the characters, who are often couples, kiss, hug and transport us to a sweet and kind world.
