Thomas Duval

Born in 1967 - France

Born in 1967, Thomas Duval lives and works in Paris.

His work is mainly based on still life photography. In the last years, he was searching for inspiration and has travelled to various places. For him the most important things are the composition and the intelligence of the object.

Thomas Duval has also worked with luxury brands such as Champagnes Ruinart or Perrier-Jouet, and with cultural institutions, such as the Théâtre National de l'Agora, for which he creates posters.

His curiosity drives him to collaborate with Uzik, with whom he produces short films; they are awarded a Webby in New York. He has also collaborated with designers Patrick Jouin and Philippe Starck; he meets Alain Ducasse who commissions him several pieces, such as ?Spoon Cook Book?, ?Le grand livre de Méditerranée? and ?Le Tour du monde?.
