Yves Aubry is a painter born in 1937 in Rouen.
In 1957 Yves Aubry graduated from the "National School of Fine Arts" in Paris, where he completed his apprenticeship following the classes of professor Gromaire. Later on, he enrolled at the "Académie Jullian” and at the “Académie de la Grande Chaumière”.
Yves Aubry's paintings are those of an artist with great sensibility and talent, his pieces are always joyful and optimistic, in the choice of subject as well as in the treatment of color.
In his harmonious compositions, women and landscapes are treated the same way, with fresh and bright colors and with a great sense of poetry and softness. The artist manages to transmit to his audience his love for life and for beautiful things, in a smooth way.
In 1959 he made his first solo exhibition in Paris. Yves Aubry's works are exhibited in several galleries in Europe, United States and Japan in group and solo exhibitions.
