Born in 1978 - France
Born in 1978, Florim Hasani is an artist born in Kosovo. He lives and works in France.
Florian Hasani studied fine arts at the Ecole des Beaux Arts de Rouen in France.
Florin Hasani chose "the house" as his favorite subject. For the artist, this place is a space of construction but also a symbol of intimate, familiar and domestic relations. It is particularly important to the artist who had to emigrate from his country at an early age. Through the representation of this place, the artist addresses through his drawings, the issue of destruction and ruins.
Florim Hasani is a multidisciplinary artist, he practices watercolor, sculpture and graphite. In his geometric sculptures, the artist concretizes his ideas into form. He retains the house as the main subject, but starts focusing on certain objects of the house such as the darkened chimney.
Lately, Florim Hasani has expanded his repertoire and discusses the concept of territory and ownership of space depicted in his magnificent installations.
