Tetsu

Roger Jean Lucien Testu is a painter, draftsman and comedian. Born in 1913 in Bourges, he went on to study letters then obtained his diploma in Fine Arts. He gives himself the pseudonym Tetsu, an anagram of the letters of his name, to sign his cartoons depicting the spasms of society. His illustrations are published in the major media: Le Figaro, France Dimanche, Ici Paris, Jour de France, VSD or even HIM. He died in 2008 with a list of numerous awards to his credit: the Carrisey Prize in 1955, the Grandville Black Humor Prize in 1964, the Antiquarian Prize and finally the Palma de Oro Prize.
