Marie and Patrick Blin are a French couple of artists.
Marie Blin is a professional photographer who has worked in collaboration with several different magazines, including Figaro Magazine and Vogue. She has also carried out advertising campaigns. Within these two activities, the artist has shown off her talents in the context of framing and the usage of lighting.
By transitioning from portraits to still life for luxury products, Marie Blin unveils the true extent of her photography skills. In 2006, she exhibited her personal work at the Month of Photography. The following year at the Studio Harcourt.
Patrick Blin is passionate about ornithology ever since he was a child, he started taking photographs of birds at the age of sixteen. He started a career in the cinema industry before turning to photography, which he turns into his full-time job in 2008. His works became quickly recognized,which allowed him to join Nicolas Vanier’s film crew for the movie “Loup,” filmed in Yakoutie. He published the result in a book called “Sur la terre des Loups” in 2012. His second book, “La vie en rose,” was made with the collaboration of Marie Blin.
Their artistic collaboration has existed since 2011. Together, they created an art gallery located in Monfort l’Amaury, where they exhibited their own work as well as other artists. They created also a laboratory specialising in art prints as well as a studio specialising in portraits. In 2015, having been quite succesful, they open a second gallery in Paris.
