Sêma Lao is a young French painter born in 1987. She currently lives and works in Limoges.
For Sêma Lao, adventure started in 2012 when the famous urban artist C215, proposed her to come and paint on the walls of Vitry-sur-Seine. Her style is always easy to recognize for her portraits of children and for her treatment which is always very bright and colorful.
Sêma Lao loves working spontaneously and freely, when she starts a piece she prefers to skip the step of sketching and works directly on the colors, which are the real center of her creation.
Armed with her aerosol bomb, Sêma Lao seeks to establish a real connection between his public and his pieces, she uses an affect of colors in her creations, which pushes the observer to adopt different perspectives.
