Soizik Oger le Goff is a French artist, born in 1981.
Musician and historian, she finally gave in to her passion for painting. After a training in fine arts at the Ginette Martenot fine arts association, she received around hundred students of all ages in her studio in Rennes for more than twenty years. Simultaneously, to improve her work she participated in studios with life sculptures and took Chinese painting lessons, mainly with the Chinese painter He Yifu. After her Chinese master's death, she continued to follow Chunyu Wang and Robert Faure's classes.
As she is used to regional painting fairs since ten years, she mainly paints for pleasure, to express and tell stories and make people dream. Movement and life guide her strokes, whereas colors help her go beyond figuration, and achieve a poetic and expressive aspect. In her paintings, she portrays the essential and gives importance to only few details.
