Born in 1953, Jean-Luc Chabaud is a French artist born in 1953. At a young age, he discovered in the museum of Louvre, Ucello's work, Zurbaran, Joarden etc. He did at first an artistic training with professor Pierre Dardel.

He worked at first on the academic style and tried copying the big masters of painting. Bacon has always been the artist that has influenced him the most. Although the style, the color palette, the refined graphics of wide and solid fabric and the light are all part of his own personal style, transposing his tools into his universe.

Jean-Luc Chabaud's pieces are part of some of the most beautiful private and public collections all around the world.
