Born in Paris in 1968, Zazpi left his hometown when he was only 17 years old with a backpack and in search of rurality, adventure and identity, until he finally found an anchor point in the Basque country, his adoptive region.
A self-taught artist, photography gradually took an important place in his life, among all his other interests. He is passionate about botany, his images are refined and his recurring subjects clear.
Indeed, Zazpi's photographs are refined, graphic, even minimalist and often devoid of any context.
