Laurent Navarre is a French artist born in 1972.
Since childhood, Laurent Navarre is passionate about artistic creation, he regularly attended painting and drawing workshops before joining the School of Fine Arts of Versailles where he graduated with honors.
Between lyrical, figurative and abstract, Laurent Navarre's work portrays human figures, men and women that seem to come out of the canvases, they gradually appear like unfinished sketches, the figures are incomplete in his drawings but marked with a very strong presence.
Laurent Navarre teaches now in various workshops and he participates in numerous shows and collective exhibitions. His work has been rewarded with several prizes, including the prize from the Taylor Foundation, the gold medal from the Society of French Artists at the Grand Palais and the painting prize A.D.A.C. He has exhibited his work in numerous galleris in France, Germany and United Kingdom.
