Presentation

I started painting in 2003 at the age of 13, out of passion, I was doing graffiti, on the walls of my city, in warehouses, along the train tracks... I skated a lot, so I spent all my time at the Skateparc, I met a graffiti artist, Escar, who lent me the DVD "Writers, 1983-2003, 20 years of graffiti in Paris", from the I never dropped my paint cans again. I wrote my name everywhere. At first I signed "We Are One" translated "We only do one", which I shortened to "Wear One" to tag faster. I remember one Christmas Eve in 2005, during which I spent my day and my evening tagging the walls of an old railway line.

Thereafter I evolved towards a more sensitive studio work, with more reflection, where I mainly concentrated on the characters and the portraits in particular. At the same time, I continued to paint walls, in order to develop my technique.

In 2012, I did a MANAA (Upgrade in applied arts) at the Condé art school in Nancy, I did not continue the following years because I found that these studies put a brake on my creativity. .

At the end of 2012, I made my first exhibition in my hometown, at the Garret museum, because I had been elected Laureate of the amateur painters' fair a few months earlier. In 2014 I exhibited at the Street-Art Dubai Gallery, then at the Park Art Fair International in Germany. In recent years I have chained exhibitions and events, with in particular, in 2017 a solo show at the 36th Art Gallery, in 2019 a solo show at Graffalgar and a collective exhibition at the Galerie Superposition, In 2020 I also participated to the Saato project, with a publication in the book "Confinement" (Sandrot Éditions)...

I like clean, detailed work. Most of the time I deal with current topics through my works, such as the disappearance of species, the image of women in society, environmental pollution, the impact of the media on the population...

Currently I mainly work on portraits of women adorned with different animals and insects, such as butterflies, ladybugs, owls, birds... My works offer a double reading, with a simple, accessible and colorful visual at first, then a second deeper reading, with different more emotional, poetic, subtle meanings...

My work also revolves around the typo that I place in the background and that we find in transparency in each face. Sometimes in color, sometimes in black and white, sometimes in small pebbles... it is always present. The four letters represented are always "WEAR" the abbreviation of my signature "We Are One".

I work a lot in order to develop my works, my painting evolves and refines as my experiences, my experience, my learning of life and my understanding of the world around me.

I do all my work by hand, usually I work on thin wooden plates, on which I apply different mediums such as, inks, acrylic, charcoal and spray cans.

It is also important for me to make structured series, which in my opinion have a stronger impact.
