Born in 1972 - France
Valérie Jayat is a French artist born in 1972.
She is passionate about drawing since a young age and learned to master this art autodidactically while growing up.
While growing up she developed her technique as well as a pronounced taste for lines and colors while practicing in parallel a job very far from the artistic world. She gets inspired by everything that surrounds her and that has an effect on her, and poses on her canvases her memories and sensations.
She has been awarded several times for her artistic production, including the prize of the city of Chateaubriand in 2016, or the prize of the jury at the Salon St Aignan in Grand Lieu in 2012. Her pieces are part of the collection the city of Carquefou as well as that of the association Centre de l'Arche in Saint Saturnin.
