Clotilde Nadel is a French artist born in 1950 in France.
She graduated from the National School of Graphic Arts located in the Rue de l'Ulm.
Her carrer started in the advertising illustration and edition field. She opened her studio in 1980 and used the airbrush to do his illustration for books of art.
Twenty five years later, she changed direction and dedicated solely to her painting. Her art and her world are nourish by the imagery that she sees daily, specially from her trips. She get immersed in her environment to better transcribe her memories on the canvas.
She keeps a very real and accurate style and adds a form of poetry and fantasy to her pieces. A mixute between traditional and contemporary takes place. A Geisha from the nineteenth century can be seen with modern mangas in her compositions.
Her favorite subjects remain urban, it is in the city that she immerses herself to look for inspiration. the streets of Paris or the alleys of New York are honored in her work.
