Deza Zader

Deza Zader was born in 1983, he chose graffiti, photography and drawing to convey his effusive ideas. He went to Beaux-Arts in Bourges in 2005, then spent a year learning Art History in Grenoble, Deza Zader collects references, then redirects them. The artist has done several visual performances, due to his encounters which encourage him to react to the current happenings, by using various mediums (body painting, digital art...). He depicts his passion on walls of cities like Paris, Vitry, Ivry, Bobigny, Nanterre, Monaco, but also the French Riviera.

He is supported by the GAAB gallery since 2013, he is known to self-finance himself, and his recognition can be measured in a microcosm, as he still isn't very well known and identified as a graffiti artist.

The artist says " cartoons, pin-ups and cinema are a true source of inspiration for me". Deza Zader inscribes a vernacular like language, by using and spoofing patterns of popular culture: Silence of the lambs, The good the bad and the ugly, City of god...His graffiti work is displayed in the form of burlesque enigmas, tinged with irony and metaphors. Zader's hieroglyphic art is ironic, and allows to see things through another angle, the one of neutralized reality.
