Born in 1962, Christophe Gnemmi alias "G" at first made a career as a trader before getting street advertisings for his artistic production.
He chooses poster that he find complementary to paste, cut, and add paint to them which he applies in the form of stencil or with the technique that Jackson Pollock made famous, by Dripping.
From his adolescence, he was attracted to the artistic world and it was then no surprise when he got strongly inspired by the Pop art and abstraction movements when he came back from a trip that he made to the United States at the age of 16.
His work as a trader left him not much time to create so he had to stop all production during ten years to finally start working on his posters in 2005, his desire and need to create were too strong.
