Biography
Born in 1989 in Tournon-sur-Rhône, Romain Kiene was initiated to art right since his childhood by his mother, a visual arts professor. This became his favorite means of expression and a major part of his life, and allwoed him to maintain his personal balance. Trained in ceramics, he settled down in the Drome region, and turned his meditation tool into his profession. By following his personal development, he then headed towards painting.
His artistic process began by usingacrylic and Indian ink, and this required him to improvise. His figurative canvases have repeated patterns of insects and animals, but the artist also addresses other themes likes individuals, society, environment and balance among all these elements.
