Christophe Boulay was born in 1961 in the area of Paris. A self-taught artist, he started his artistic career painting before dedicating to sculpting.
The artist uses recycled material (tools, wood, iron, chains, screws, nails), to create worlds with diverse influences. Some of his collections have a strong connection with mythology, others with primitive art, without losing their modernity.
Christophe Boulay exhibits his work since 1986 in numerous shows, galleries and auctions, in France and abroad.
