Hélène Vallas

Hélène Vallas is a French photographer. Uzbekistan, Jordan, New York, Nepal, Kenya, Paris, she spends her time traveling around the world, in order to depict a unique and poetic view of the world around us.

Hélène Vallas considers photography to be a lifestyle,a central theme of her life. She depicts those emotions she feels while taking photos. Sensitive to situations, places, objects, she reproduces these feelings through photography, by summarizing them. She likes to vary her themes, by taking photos of landscapes, still life or even portraits. She is constantly on the look out for novelty, and visits several photo exhibitions or sites to draw inspiration.

Her work is comprised of two steps: firstly, she registers the raw aspect, absorbs the emotions, moments, people and then captures these moments with her camera. Secondly, she enriches the image with major post production work, and turns it into emotions.

She is a member of the French photography federation, and has participated in several exhibitions in Paris and Italy.
