Anne Bulliot is a French ceramist, born in 1961 in Mullhouse. In 1985, she graduated from Arts Décoratifs in Strasbourg. The following year, she opened her workshop. She has been working as a teacher since 2003, at Institut Européen des Arts Céramiques in Guebwiller.
Anne Buillot works with space, she fills this space with memories, which then elaborates the sculpture. Her work is minimalist and gives a lot of importance to traces and the passage of time.
The artist has given up the idea of heavy pieces, and has made room for light colors, engulfed by white.
Her creations are the end result of a deep thought process, which triggers inner dialogue. The process involves soul searching, modifying and then setting off to conclude persuasive work, this aspect doesn't scare the ceramist.
Anne Buillot has already exhibited in France, Germany, Belgium but also Netherlands.
