Nature and particularly trees play a main role in the artist's work. Anne-Marie Arbefeuille tries to capture the magical moments when the sunlight goes through the foliage of gigantic, old trees, open to a majestic sky. The tree is a link between earth and the sky, since it draws its vital strenght from the ground and uses it to flow to the clouds. The photographer's images bring the observer into a real landscape adventure, where magic and beauty intertwine.
The artist also realizes an important work on the shadows. Light, heat, the trace of man, his ephemeral passage on the pavement of a road, the wall of a house or the sand of a beach is crystallized thanks to the camera of the photographer, who likes confronting the observer with the preconceived idea that he has of a human sillhouette.
Anne-Marie Arbefeuille uses various and original materials, such as fine velvet paper, veils, cotton canvases to create a sort of game in the impression.

In 2014, she was the winner of the competition of the Festival of Gardens of Chaumont sur Loire whose theme was " Jardins Pêchers Virtuels". Anne-Marie Arbefeuille exhibited her work at the Bois-Guilbert Castle in Seine-Maritime on the theme "A l'Ombre des Antiques".
