Klimt, Van Dongen, Tamara de Lempicka, Mucha & Poiret are great sources of inspiration for the artist, but also Art Nouveau. Valérie Cabaret mainly focuses on women and wants to depict them in every single state. This theme is also an excuse for the artist to explore advanced acrylic, collage, gold lead, walnut stain techniques...Her main desire is to create harmony through colors and therefore oscillates between gentle and sensual women, childish women, but also tormented souls.
