Born in 1969 - France
Born in 1969, contemporary artist Reynald Drouhin lives and works in Paris and teaches multimedia at the School of fine arts in Rennes.
He has studied the plastic arts to the beaux-arts in Paris (DNSAP and Masters Multimedia Hypermedia, 1998) and the University of Paris 1 (Masters, 1994).
His practice integrates the digital tools, photography, video, installation, and sculpture.
It is not merely a dedicated space (that of the Internet, of a projection surface or of the better spatiality of a gallery) but apprehended in turn different possible, thus seeking to reveal something other than the visible, such a space parallel, ghostly, strange, or resulting from coded data.
Reynald Drouhin has also received several awards and citations including the aid to the Multimedia Creation Experimental (Arcadi, 2007), the departmental scholarship of individual aid to the creation of the MAC/VAL (2005), the Grand Prize Scam of the interactive piece of digital art (2003), the price video of the FIAV in Tangier (2001), the Grand Prize in the Cyberfestival in Rueil-Malmaison as well as the Multimedia awards of the DRAC Auvergnes-Videoformes (1999) .
