Born in 1962, Serge Bienabé is a French protean artist: writting, painting, photography...Through his artistic practice, he narrates a journey of innocuous moments which he "transcends" according to his own words by filtering, contrasting the pictures in oder to create a different vision of reality. His encounter with art happened by chance...He used a polypropylene plate from a logistics building, he signed it and a friend bought it. He then did other works and ephemeral exhibitions. His work was praised during the competition of colleges for the poster of the city of Lyon in 1975 (2nd position).
His creations are numerous and diverse: photographs of free inspirations, filtered and contrasted, drawings made with China ink on cream paper, work with pastels. He has also taken pictures of graffiti in Paris. His work is regularly exhibited in Parisian Galleries.
