Dominique Rieger is a French painter born in 1944. A social worker, she practices carpentry in parallel, and more recently dedicates to the painting of icons, done with the old technique of the Byzantine icons gilded with gold leaves. The artist studied this technique in the studio of Hélène Lancoff and Jérôme Lescure.
