Julia Christe

Julia Christie was born in 1973 in Germany. She currently lives in Berlin. A budding artist, she studied at the GH University of Essen. After a year of pause she decided to go from Florida to Alaska in bicycle. Under the advice of an artistic director, she showed her images in magazines and got her firsts jobs and an agent.

With her camera, she aesthetically examines dogs, from all perspectives, on the air, from the side, from the front... Recognized as a talented dog photographer, she gives an aesthetic touch and a pictorial grain of high quality. Her photographs depict landscapes, which she captured during her journeys in bicycle in the United States. A perfectionist, Julia Christie handles her photographies carefully and with an insatiable rigor. A real director of her pictorial composition, she subtly mixes the light, and shapes to create unique compositions. She perfectly grasp the expressiveness, fragility and humanity of the animals.

Julia Christie is regularly praised by the magazines and the press. Her animals belong now to the Star-system.
