Imre Drégely

Born in 1960 - Hungary

BIOGRAPHY

Imre Drégely was born in Hungary. He lives and works in Budapest, Hungary. He studied at the College of Fine and Applied Arts in Budapest between 1975 and 1979. He was a teacher at the Academy of Applied Arts in Budapest.

He rarely comes forward with his photographs but keeps working to realize his constantly renewing concepts. He is an important contributor to Hungarian photography because the world surrounding and the time flowing around us appear playfully and merrily in his works.

The pictures created in recent years have gradually deepened and the happy time travels of the past have been augmented with quite new dimensions, while preserving the author’s characteristic elegance and charm.
