Gyula Sagi is a Hungarian artist who works and lives in Berlin (Germany). He studied painting in the Department of Visual Representation in 2D Savaria University in Szombathely, Hungary between 2007 and 2010.
In order to create his abstract works, Gyula Sagi is relying on his intuition. The artist calls the subjects and the techniques he uses "pure energy". His works are composed of signs that reveal the different structures of nature such as branches of trees, hives. Gyula shows that the repetition is the same at both micro and macro level.
The process is starting with meditative contemplation. My mind is silent, the energy is accumulating. Than one short and powerful eruption follow it. Eruption of psychical and the spiritual energy. The result is spontaneous but controlled by the repetition.
