Born in Iran in 1986, Ava Fathi is a painter and a sculptor. After three years of studies in graphic design at the University of Arts in Tehran, she settled in Paris to graduate from the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in 2015.
Inspired by her personal experience through a strong political environment, she creates a dichotomous aesthetic. Her painting includes various themes such as landscapes or portraits - human and animal. She opposates her figurative creation to an abstract work on soapstone, limestone or plaster.
