Iszchan Nazarian is an Iranian artist born in 1946, he lives and works in U.S.A.
In 1947, the Iszchan family left for Armenia where he studied at the Fine Arts Academy, which is part of the Artistic-Theatrical Institute in Yerevan. Then in 1971, Iszchan moved to Warsaw and began his studies at the Fine Arts Academy in Warsaw and obtained a diploma from the faculty of painting.
Iszchan Nazarian's work is filled with great pictorial technique, which reminds us of the great masters of the 20th century like Chagall, Matisse or Cézanne. His paintings are created with bright colors, reminding us of the light and vitality of the South.
Iszchan Nazarian has won several prizes, among them Diploma di Benemerenza from the Leonardo da Vinci Academy in Rome, Italy in 1980, the prix sépacial of the jury XI Palme d'Or des Beaux Arts International Competition in Monte Carlo in1979; Certificate of Merit, Dictionary of International Biography, Cambridge in United Kingdom in 1979, the Certificate of Merit, Men of Achievement, International Biographical Center, at Cambridge during the same year.
His work is part of the Modern Art Museum collection of Yerevan in Armenia, the National Museum in Warsaw or even the Vatican Museum in Venice, Italy, and private collections all around the world.
