Fariba Solati was born in Iran in 1948. She paints and draws since the age of 14. In 1975, She entered the Tehran School of Fine Arts. She then, opened an advertising and design agency with her friends, she worked in this agency for about 10 years. In 1989, she settled in Paris. In parallel to her activity as a painter, Fariba Solati taught drawing.
She paints numerous eclectic subjects with pastel colors and charcoal . Sometimes, she does her paintings with oil paint. Her native country, Iran, and her adoptive country, France are a main source of inspiration for the artist.
She exhibits her work in shows in Paris (Bastille, Grand Palais, Salon of Independant Artists) and Luxembourg.
