Born in 1963 - Japan
Born in 1963, Daisuke Ichiba is a Japanese draftsman. He lives and works in Tokyo.
His drawings transcribe the influence of manga in his work. Daisuke Ichiba creates unique compositions inspired by his study of printmaking. He creates fantasy and chaotic universes, where men transform into hybrid beings with three eyes, headless or with a Lizard tongue. His sporadic use of color allows him to highlight the multiple details that compose his drawings.
The human being is the main subject of Daisuke Ichiba's work, which he depicts in indoor macabre scenes most of the time.
His work have been exhibited in several French and American galleries.
