Born in 1970 - Japan
Naomu Yuki dreamed of being a painter since she was 5 years old. A few years later, she discovered the installations of the artists Christo and Jeanne-Claude that deeply touched her. But it was a long and difficult way, facing adults that were reluctant to her will of being an artist. So she abandoned her dream and focused on her schoolwork and then professional work.
At thirty years old, she couldn't bear anymore what she had became so she decided to draw again and never stopped. She went to Florence to learn how to do drawing and decided to take the entrance exam of the Beaux-Arts Academy of Rome. Being accepted, she followed a four-year course, before going back to Japan for health reasons and started her own artistic style.
In 2012 she participated for the first time to the "Tagboat" art fair, which was also her first public exhibition. Many galleries will contact her and start to exhibit her artworks. American collectors particularly demand Naomu Yuki, so she tries to increase her presence in Asia and Europe, by participating to different international fairs of which "Art Busan" in 2016 in South Korea.
Constantly looking to the future, she creates artworks witnessing this contemporary dimension.
