Born in 1928 and died in 2009, Dušan Džamonja is a Macedonian sculptor. He lives and work between Brussels, Vrsar and Zagreb, Croatia.

He studied fine arts at the Fine Arts School in Zagreb. Initially, he joined the Krsinic studio before creating his own studio in Zagreb. He did his first personal exhibition in 1954. In the 70's, he began building his own home and studio in Vrsar.

Dušan Džamonja initially drew but found his true calling in sculpture. He uses several materials, including bronze, iron, glass, wood and even polyester. His work is displayed in several public and private European collections. He is mainly known for his memorial creation for the Second World War in 1967, for the city of Podgaric.
