Dr Lakra (Jeronimo Lopez Ramirez, born in 1972, in Mexico) is an artist and tattoo maker based in Oaxaca, Mexico. The son of the graphic artist Francisco Toledo and Elisa Ramirez Castaneda, a renowned Mexican anthropologist and poet, he inherited a love for art, His brother is a poet and his sister is a renowned artist.

Besides tattooing, his art consists in embellishing found images and objects, such as dolls, old medical illustrations and images from Mexican magazines of the 50s, with macabre or tattoo drawings.

He has exhibited his work internationally in numerous exhibitions, including at the Tate Modern in London, at the MACO in Mexico, at the Yokohama Museum (Japan), and in a gallery in New York. In 2007, he co-produced a book called "The Two Friends" with artist Abraham Cruzvillegas. His work belong to different collections, such as that at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), at the Hammer Museum and at the Walker Art Center.
