Born in 1982 - Mexico
Born in 1982 in Mexico City, Daniela Huerta lives and works in Berlin.
My work tends to explore and reveal the poetry of ordinary things. I am in a continuous search for possible ways to encounter the often unseen spaces between reality and the subconscious.
I am interested in the dialogue which is created between objects and the space around them and I tend to undertake the act of drawing as a deliberate activity to capture fragments of time through various media. I do not generally have a preferred material since I adopt them along the process.
Things that appeal to my aesthetic seem to present themselves as things in themselves.
