Niemand

Niemand is a Dutch born artist living and working from Barcelona and New York studios.

Growing up in a artistic and musical family, Niemand has always been around records and music collections and as a music lover and as a visual artist he has always been attracted to the different designs and the beauty of these records collections that together form abstract compositions of colors and shapes.

This visual effect along with the different associations we all have with the music to be found inside these sleeves turns these photomontages into personal voyages of emotions and memories. Making new connections through images and sound that has a different, but strong emotional meaning for all of us despite age, generation, race, or gender. Niemand has different documented collections of friends, family members and public vintage collections around the world. He mixes, builds and composes new sets digitally.

He stages a new outlet of collective memory going beyond plastic and beautiful imagery full of abstractions, colors and patterns.
