Lisette van Cruijningen is a Dutch artist born in 1978.
She graduated in 2006 from the University of Maastricht with a law degree, and from the University of Amsterdam with a psychology degree.
In 2013, she got a diploma from the Academy of Photography in Rotterdam.
""Our society is often hard and rational, with little attention for feelings. That’s why I like to express moods in my work. My images are quiet, almost abstract. They are an invitation to my dreamworld. The subjects I choose are from daily life and deal with relationship, work, health and appreciation. Most of the images are the result of experiments with time and they are not edited."
