Anna Bocek was born in 1973 in Gdansk in Poland. She studied at the National Academy of Fine Arts (Faculty for Painting and Stage Setting).
In 1997 she won the price "Shakespearen Set Designer Project" at the Theatrum Gedanense Foundation in Gdansk.
Since 1997 she did numerous stage settings for plays like Gogol Fredro, Shakespeare, Gunrey and others.
In 1999 she get her diploma.
She won numerous awards during her career, such as the "International artist symposium" prize Studio at the Danube, Austria, the "7 wonders of EU Funding" prize for Hevelianum Center, Gdansk, Poland, the special award "TOP TEN - Woman in Arts", Galerie Artrom, Roma, Italy, the special award "Polish Heritage Association of the name of Wiktor Zin" for Amber Museum Enterprise, Gdansk, Poland, the "Best of Soho 2005 Art Show", New York, the "Amber Museum´s Project, Gdansk, Poland (in 2006).
