Born in 1969 - Poland
Grzegorz Bolek is a Polish artist born in 1969. He studied at the Faculty of Painting of the Academy of Fine Arts of Warsaw where he graduated with honors in 1996, from the studio of Professor Rajmund Ziemski. He specialized also in mural painting.
Bolek's paintings represent a real fairy tale of colors. The concious dissonances create a soft and calm mosaic of landscapes, taking forms that are hardly recognizable, almost abstract. Grzegorz Bolek, is a contemporary romantic, which is reflected on the moods full of emotion of the nature that he depicts with the help of different pictorial ways of expression. We can define his painting style as expressive in form and lyrical in content.
He has participated in numerous exhibitions, for example at the Palace of Art in Krakow and at the Old Orangery in Lazienki in Warsaw.
