Tadeusz Michaluk is a French artist born in Poland on May 13, 1938. He studied for five years at the School of Fine Arts of Warsaw where he graduated in 1965.
Working on industrial graphics, he created numerous illustrations of books, posters and even stamps, most of which have been published by the Polish post office. Discovered by a great Parisian merchant in 1977 during a solo exhibition in Stockholm, his work celebrates European fantasy and hyper realism, he lived in France during several periods in his lifetime.
Back in France in 1985 he finally took the decision to settled in the country permanently. A fertile and imaginative painter, he uses humor with brilliance and plays with the colors. In his paintings we can appreciate a mix of acrobats, Baroque theaters, Buslesque personages and strange architectures in a universe coming from his imagination.
