Born in 1982 - Romania
Adela Coman (n. 1982, Bucuresti) is an urban designer and artist. She holds a diploma in History and ever since her ground-research dealing with costumes, Adela Coman has been interested in textiles (scenography, fashion, AAH and 09:37 t-shirts, embroidery and deco).
Since 2012, she lives and works in France. Her creations are unique and focus on a particular place and context. Thread is her fetish media, from humble sewing thread to climbing ropes and electroluminescent wires. The thread, due to convenience and versatility, has been converted into telling precious and fragile stories. This summer, Adela has took part in the Cours Julien street art festival, organized by Marseille Centre and exhibited in Galerie Complex Marseille (Fils en Boite).
