'Image-making has always fascinated me. From the age of six, I was making black-and-white contacts from a brownie camera in a cupboard under the stairwell at my home. I have been visiting the sea point swimming pool, situated in Cape Town, since I was a young boy and have had an on going fascination with this iconic landmark starting with my first serious image of it taken in 1979'
