To Kwang-Bum Jang, the image of time is close to the image kept in our memory; it's the mark that have left events in our minds, the image of a passed reality.
The discovery, one day, of the superposition of different layers of paint on the walls of the workshop of an art school fascinated the artist. They were marks accumulated with time, piled up, making subtle circles, like those you can see on the inside of a cut tree. These marks reminded Kwang-Bum Jang of time's wear and tear of things and people. They are shapeless and untouchable, they represent time and make the "past present" visible, also suggesting a new lecture of time.
