Seon Kang Wolter was born in Seoul South Korea. Seon has an MA in Art Psychotherapy and is a registered member with ANZATA (Australia and New Zealand Art Therapy Association) and ATAS (Arts Therapists Association of Singapore) since 2012. She also holds a BA in Graphic Design & Communication from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, UK.
Seon Kang Wolter's work experience includes a career in the branding industry in London with Interbrand and as well as an independent consultant. Her career kindled a passion and desire for the arts and psychology which led to the pursuit of her Master of Arts (Art Therapy) program at Lasalle after moving to Singapore.
Seon Kang Wolter’s clinical experiences have facilitated her to see the healing power of art therapy through the use of various media and the non-intrusive stance of an art therapist. The main influences of her work are Freudian Psychology, Jungian Psychology, John Bowlby, Winnicott’s “Holding Environment” and Erikson’s “Psycho-social Development."
