Dourone

Spanish street artist, Fabio Lopez aka Dourone began graffiti in 1999 in Madrid. Since 2012, joined by Elodieloll, the duo travels the world to create monumental murals in the biggest megacities of the world such as Los Angeles, Miami, Madrid, Paris, Amsterdam, Kiev, Marrakech and Johannesburg.

His mural work is present in more than 45 cities and they have painted together more than 90 murals around the world.

You can highlight a certified mural heritage of the city of Los Angeles in front of the Staples Center stadium or the mural at the Des Lumières stadium in Lyon, France. There are murals present in Paris, Madrid, Zurich, Miami, Johannesburg ...

His work at the studio has had drastic evolutionary changes until reaching 2018 when he creates the Fragmented Record concept where you can see a closed and conceptual study of the 21st century.

Dourone's work is a record that expresses the adaptation of the human species on a planet that is no longer the same.

Dourone's artworks are figurative. Realistic or surreal, they combine powerfull colors with illustration that clearly sign the singular and recognizable style of thos talented artists.

The portrait, and particularly the female portrait, holds a prominent place in Dourone's artwork. Allegorical paintings, those women's portraits talk about responsibility, solidarity, complementarity, non-duality, creation, the whole and the infinity ... revealing the humanist ideals of the artist and questioning the place and responsibility of the Men in this world.
